
Falls Area Bicyclists would like to invite leaders in the community on a bicycle ride along that will feature highlights and areas for improvement.
Who: Leaders in Sioux Falls who want to know more about active transportation and be apart of improvement.
What: A safe group ride led by certified safety instructors on streets and bike trails in Sioux Falls. The bike ride will be a slow 8 mph pace, around one hour long. A review of the ride will follow with refreshments at Active Generations.
When: July 26 9:30am- 11:30am
Where: Start at Active Generations, and then a group ride to different areas of Sioux Falls.
Why: To help give direction on how to build a better community that is welcoming to people who bike or use other modes of active transportation.
A goal for Falls Area Bicyclists is to help improve the PeopleforBikes City Rating score. Sioux Falls is currently ranked 1012 in the U.S. 308 in the Midwest region and 12th in South Dakota.
